The rise and rise of Digital currency exremely alarming!

One would think Bitcoin rules the digital currency world, but I must say that the rise and rise of other digital currencies in 2017 is quite alarming...and seems not to stop anytime soon.
My thought is, with no institutionalized regulations, how far can this go?
No doubt millionaires have been made...
