RE: NEWSTEEM!💥

in #steem7 years ago

Other than what @theycallmedan claims, HF21 is pretty much hardwired to boost the bidbot economy. Small fish like you and me are basically screwed in the new MAIN STEEM economy unless we delegate our stake to bidbots and start using those same bidbots to beat the curve.

People who don't post in English, in case you wanted to post in your native language, are pretty much lost. There is just too little non-english stake bing used for curation to get anything rolling there.

As for "NEW" STEEM, yes, it's called Scot tribes, and its amazing. A happy little place, like old STEEM used to be where minnow level stake can actually give you an above dust level up vote. Where smaller fish can post and make some tokens without calling in bid bots.

Good to see you found #creativecoin. We will be needing it pretty soon when the main STEEM economy becomes a bid-bot fest.

Hi friend!!👋 Thanks for your comment, actually I wasn't happy with upcoming changes until Andrarchy gave me a great explanation then I have read tons of different versions on how it can or not help and now I don't understand nothing I have no more option than be excited and hope it works! Basically the EIP part of HF21 is a huge gamble based on a whole lot of conjecture, a set of naive idea about psychology, economic theory and game theory, that is being roled out by people who truly believe that modern day computational statistics, causal inference modeling and simulation techniques seeded with historic data are a huge waste of time and resources, and how things will work out can simply be predicted with some inductive reasoning. There are a lot of variables to this hardfork, and a lot of ways this HF could backfire.

I think a few of the seven ways I named already happened. A few mor e are very likelly to follow in the weeks or months after HF21 roles out.

If you like Mathematics I'll be happy to elaborate on specific concerns, for example why @theycallmedan is likely wrong about the bid bot thing and the opposite is likely to play out where bid bots are concerned.

But as I said, #creativecoin is a great place foir creative people to hide out if this HF goes south for us small creative fish. I'm watching how things play out in a few weeks and how they handle the contingencies that will surely occure, and the realization that things don't quite follow the happy path they projected. If they respond professionally and make some fixes (like reducing dust level), maybe I'll stay my ground. If they don't I'll have to figure out how much SP I need to keep powered up for resource credit reasons, so I can safely move the rest of it to increase my #ccc #creativecoin stake and remain able to upvote social interaction as wel as good content.
