This is true, except when the person is being hired specifically to be the community liaison.

No it's always true. A person is unconscious if they obsess about a person's action. Personal responsibility is what people should focus on. Obsess about external reality is a waste of time.

I don't tend to accept ALWAYS, NEVER, EVERYONE, etc. Absolutes are very rarely true when applied to people, and this is no exception. All it takes is a single case of it not being the case for the absolute to be invalid.

Absolutes are good. We need more of that in the world. People confident in what they believe in. Always I say because that means let's say 99% of times. Of course a person can be a word police and try to do all 100% accurate but for me that is a waste of time and energy. 😉😊

Are you a preacher, priest, etc. Absolutes based upon belief are called Dogma. It is the basis for most religions. Your definition of GOOD and mine vary quite a bit.

lways I say because that means let's say 99% of times. Of course a person can be a word police and try to do all 100% accurate but for me that is a waste of time and energy.

In this case I wouldn't even say you are correct about it being 99%. I don't even suspect it is MOST. Though this is me guessing just like you. You are guessing it is 99%. I am guessing it is not.

Either one of us could be right or wrong. That tends to happen when people try to pass off their speculations/guesses/hypothesis as fact.

I don't consider any of my own ideas absolute. Doing so is naive in my opinion.

I believe in self confidence above word magic. I trust my instinct above all else. The world is not run by word magic it's way more complex than that. The world is also not run on Logic but on pure Intelligence. There is more Intelligence in the air around us than in our own brain.

I trust my instinct above all else. The world is not run by word magic

It's not "Magic". It is simply knowing what words mean and being precise in using them. Making mistakes sure, but learning from those mistakes.

If someone points out what words mean, and their misuse in order to clarify and improve the accuracy of communication you call that magic?

There is more Intelligence in the air around us than in our own brain.

LOL - I have to requote something above.

I trust my instinct above all else

In otherwords even if you don't have a clue about something you'll trust it because your instinct tells you that you should? That sounds like "magic" thinking. LOL.

If you think your instinct trumps all then I don't like telling you this, but you are being a fool. Good news though. You don't have to be. Freedom of choice.

If you have a problem with being wrong, then how can you hope to learn?

I am wrong all the time. I argue with myself and change my mind frequently.

My instinct. It can be wrong. It is limited to what I have learned, and the experiences I have had and I am no God, am not omniscient, and there are a great deal of subjects I know very little about. Those things my instinct is baseless.

What words mean? Words are made up stuff. You clearly rely on words more than me. You use your mind and intellect to argue a lot I don't think that is real intelligence. It's a fun little tool but not magical. You want to be logically correct and try to look at every word and sentence in a scientific manner. I can do that also sometimes but overall I would say it's a waste of time and energy.

For me a word can because it's made up have a million different meanings. And then people can have a million ways to analyze that. You see? You can go on forever argue stuff. But in general just a fun tool but waste of time in general. Words has always been a bad way of communicating. The world is too complex to rely too much on words.

Yes I trust myself. I am the lord and creator of my world. I can create anything I want.
