What about you can still upvote yourself for visibility, but at the 7 day payout the amount of vest due to your own upvote would be deducted from the reward.
Would still bem worth to put some money on the system for self promoting, but now rewards come from that. Also the self advertise come at a cost: use of voting power.
I was thinking something like this. Like, couldn't payout just be calculated based on the votes excluding self-votes?
