Don't be so sure about that yet @aggroed.

You are looking at STEEM/USD. This is a mere reflection of BTC price, since there is only STEEM/BTC trading pairs on the exchanges.

If you check steem/BTC you will see that the price is still on a sideway movement.

    This is not true, there is a Steem-tether pair on Huobi: https://www.huobi.com/en-us/exchange/steem_usdt/ and it's been challenging the volume with the Binance pairs.

    Hum. Didn't knew that... Good to know. Even so, he is using Bittrex conversion. He should use the huobi chart.
