1. Power Ups are Still Working !
It is still looking good on the Power Up front. And SPUD4STEEM is still doing a great job.

Please also note that in the table above the Steem Power values for each 'sea creature category' are only approximate, as the 'raw data' supplied by @steemchiller is based on Vests not SP.
For example 'Minnows' refer to those people with 1,000,000 - 9,999,999 Vests, and 'Dolphins' refers to those with 10,000,000 - 99,999,999 Vests.
2. Communities of the Month - September
@steemitblog announced last week that applications are now open for communities who would like to be considered for the Communities of the Month Support Program for September.
There are six Communities of the Month support packages to be had, and another 30 communities will get regular @booming votes. That is 36 communities in total to be supported.
Only 13 communities have put in applications so far, so if your community applies you have a good chance of being selected !
There is just over two days left to apply - so make sure your community leaders are on the case.
Applications must be submitted by 11.59pm UTC on Saturday, August 21st...
3. WOX-HelpFund Donation
The WOX-HelpFund run by the @xpilar and the World of Xpilar Community has donated 600 STEEM to support @torontoflia's wife @alma-arar while she undergoes treatment for cervical cancer...

5. Steemalive Community Impact Network
@steemalive is launching a new outreach program - the Steemalive Community Impact Network.
