2. Powered Up STEEM moves up
The latest stats from @remlaps show another small increase in the amount of STEEM that is powered up.
The past week has again seen a 300K (0.2%) increase to 158,207,164 STEEM powered up, equivalent to a value of $37,285,157...
3. Burning STEEM
@remlaps has also continued to track the impact of Steemit's burnsteem25 campaign encouraging people to set a 25% beneficiary to @null to reduce the amount of STEEM, which potentially will increase its value.
A daily All Time High of 731 SP burnt in beneficiary rewards was seen on 5 September...
4. New Witness - SteemWOW!
Developer @rexthetech has announced that he and @freelance.monkey have launched a new Steem witness - SteemWOW...
In their Witness Campaign Post @steemwow say they are planning to develop projects on Steem, and that they will be running a full API node as well...
@rexthetech has also highlighted an issue with the Witness Price Feeds...

Both @o1eh and @pollito22 have come up with plans this week to promote Steem on Twitter...

It's a wonderful set of recent happenings on Steem that is worth reading and I'm glad that my project that is aimed at helping orphanages in this part of the world made the list.
The little effort we put into helping others can actually make a great difference in making the world a better place. We can put smiles on others' faces even with whatever (small or big) we can bring to the table, the good intentions behind it matters most.

Currently twitter is the most effective platform to promote steemit without cost but it takes unity and cohesiveness from steemit users to be active there.. I've written it before, I think you wrote it in a great way.. thanks for sharing brother @pollito22

Steem on - this spirit never fades, the job is to unite the perceptions of all users to work together to promote steemit on twitter. Number is the power to make steemit a trending topic. Great idea must fought for.. regards
