1. TRX Reward Change
Steemit Inc and the TRON DAO have announced that from 15 October the amount of TRX in post rewards will reduce from 1 TRX for every 1 Steem Power to 0.5 TRX for every 1 Steem Power.
This represents a 50% reduction in TRX rewards. However if you set your post to 'Power Up 100%' you will get twice as much Steem Power and therefore twice as much TRX...
2. Positive Snippets
Dolphins, Orcas and Whales have all grown over the past year.
On 25 October 2021 there were 1223 Dolphins (over 5,000 SP approximately), 264 Orcas (over 50,000 SP) and 30 Whales (over 500,000 SP).
Now there are 1251 Dolphins (+2.3%), 288 Orcas (+9.1%) and 32 Whales (+6.7%).
For the last week or so STEEM has crept back into the Top 200 on CoinMarketCap - somewhere we have not been for the past few months...
3. Steem Video Contest
@xpilar has extended the closing date for the Steem Video Contest until 20 October.
The judges for the contest are @xpilar, @stef1 and @pennsif...
The prize pool for the contest has now been increased further to 30,000 SP thanks to a generous offer from @nadiaturrina...
