Gearing up for #newsteem - getting all my ducks in a row... and making them fly
Everything changes tomorrow.
Hardfork 21 arrives at 11am EDT / 3pm UTC.
A new steem will be born.
Some of the changes will work better than others. Some people will gain, some people may not.
But as with everything in life, the key to success is doing the best with what you have, rather than just complaining about what you would like to have.
For me, I see HF21 as a good point to take stock of what I do on steem, see if there are better ways I can operate, and optimising the resources I have.
My bottom line...
I want Steem to prosper, I want to prosper on Steem, I want to enjoy Steem.

I am rejigging all my delegations, bringing them back home, and then reassigning them to support projects I am involved with - primarily @steemclub-uk to grow Steem in the UK, and a new ALT.Life related project I am working on.
I will be powering up all my liquid STEEM - I just started on that, but will wait on the rest til 1 September for @streetstyle's Steem Power Up Day#5.
I will be reviewing my witness votes to check those I vote for are working full on to bring value to Steem and help it prosper. I have currently used 27 of my 30 votes (@actifit, @aggroed, @arcange, @bitrocker2020, @blocktrades, @c0ff33a, @drakos, @dsound, @enginewitty, @followbtcnews, @guiltyparties, @helpie, @holger80, @mahdiyari, @ocd-witness, @oracle-d, @quochuy, @someguy123, @steemhunt, @steempeak, @steempress, @stoodkev, @thecryptodrive, @therealwolf, @untersatz, @ura-soul, @yabapmatt). If anyone has any good suggestions for the remaining three votes comment below.
I will be doing more curation - mainly through the new 'Best of British' project I launched today, through a new ALT.Life project I am developing, and through my Steem Daily News and the MSP Sustainability curation post on Sundays.
Projects I will be working on...
SteemClub-UK @steemclub-uk to help grow Steem in the UK. We are now down to just over 100 active steemians in the UK - we need to reverse that trend.
Steem Daily News - I hope this can be pushed far and wide to tell people about what is going on on Steem. I would also like to look a developing a more solid support base for it - and maybe explore advertising.
TRIBE.talk - my new show on MSP Waves all about Tribes. It will be on Wednesdays at 8pm UTC right after Around The Block.
Steem Meetups - as well as helping to get more going in the UK, I am looking at ways to encourage and support more of them around the world. This may tie in with the Steem Ambassadors project.
Exploring new ideas to bring people to steem and to bring value to steem. More follows.

This feels like an exciting fork in many ways.. i have a feeling this is the start of an upward trend in positivity because there is more incentive for curators to buy more steem.. good to see u back in action also! Xx
Seems like you got things more or less figured out as for what you will be working on. I only vaguely know what I want. To write more and u my game on Steem monsters for sure with a possible vlog on Dtube.

What are your thoughts on upcoming Steem Fest? Do you go to these events?
We need to consciously make an effort to increase our user engagement and to go out to curate and actually READ the content that people are creating. The sad part is we have way more content creators than we have content consumers right now. This puts a strain on the rewards because nobody is actually valuing these posts for what they are worth.

The Hard Fork is definitely a great reset and like your approach. It has been a while that I haven’t done some of the cleanup you mention; may need to do the same!

Have similar tastes in witnesses. One I might suggest is @c-squared which @justineh is involved with. They are pretty good at supporting undervalued and unnoticed posts.
