1 year on the Steem Blockchain

August 1st 2017, my Steem account was finally approved after more than a week long wait. I could start collecting the big payouts... Boy, that was a big desillusion at first. I must have had like 25 posts that were only upvoted by myself.
But after a while, when I was posting daily about retro house music and some great satirical posts about politics (if I may say so myself!), I grew myself an audience, and I got some upvotes. I powered up every reward I got and my SP grew and so does your upvote.

Steemengine and Steemfollower

Then I discovered Steemengine and Steemfollower, which are amazing tools to grow yourself an audience and get upvotes at the same time. Really check these out, if you haven't done so. I got to know some very interesting people, like @acesontop, @emergehealthier, @amvanaken, etc... I can't put every name here, but my social circle got way bigger.

@juliank and Smartsteem

The latest few months I have been picking up photography a little more seriously. Thanks to the daily competions of @juliank. I have only won 3 times in like a 150 submissions, but that doesn't matter, I like what I am doing and it makes me more creative in real life too.
And then there is Smartsteem, this has given me the opportunity to cash in a little more on the Steem Power I already had. My vote is finally worth something, and thanks to Smartsteem I can give my vote to minnows that can use it and get paid for it too. Amazing tool, and a great way to become bigger gradually on this platform.

1250 SP just by posting and curating in 1 year!

No investment, no nothing, just posting, voting and interacting. Amazing way to earn some money. And especially, to meet some great people, like: @surfermarly, @cranium, @teutonium, @practicaleric...
