For me, the most important aspect of steemit is the censorship resistance aspect; there are so many people out there trying to communicate their message or share their knowledge, and they're being censored because the information they're presenting doesn't agree with you standard of the people who control society. Steemit allow people to present their information without limits and barriers. We will have to embrace this wonderful platform.
Yes. Although Steemit site can still censor it to some extent but it is still able to be viewed on the site or straight from the blockchain.
