as crappy as Steemit may be, it is just about the only working blockchain technology with a real value, besides Father Bitcoin.
And since there seems to be no competition at the moment, Steemit and thus steem have still an incredibly HUGE potential.
Yes and it has been actively used since its inceptions. The road is not straight, its been bumpy, but we have persevered to date.
