$STEEM/BTC Poloniex+Bittrex Technical Analysis / Market Report Update #216, May. 15 2017.

Been away for nearly 2 months, so without further due, lets look what happened on the markets meanwhile's.

POLONIEX

After the pump on May 18th that went up to 33.2k satoshi the price started going down, first being traded with a bit higher volatility between 14.1k and 20k satoshi, in which channel it was traded up to early April.
As April started the price made another move down reaching the support area around 12.5k satoshi, an area that was previously an all time low point and further served a couple of time as a support level.
After making the lowest point at 12.5k satoshi in mid April, the price started going up again making a new, lower local high at 23.9k in the next couple days.
After making of the new local high the rally was paused for a few days with the price retracing down to 17k satoshi at its lowest point on May 2nd.
After hitting the new higher local low of 17k satoshi the price started going up once again, making a new, higher local high over the next couple of days, with the top at 77.8k saotshi.
After marking the new local high at 77.8k satoshi the price retraced to 35k satoshi with a hard dump, but once again that was a higher local low and over the past few days the price has been settled between 48 and 40k satoshi.
Today the price started another uptrend move reaching up to 59.3k satoshi where it made a new lower local high.
At the moment it retraced down and is traded around 52.5k satoshi.

BITTREX

The price on Bittrex followed the one of Poloniex, as expected.
There were some slight differences in some point of highs and lows, with the recent dump on May 12th being the most notable one where the price heavily dumped to 30k satoshi, unlike on Poloniex where that day's low was 40k satoshi.
Today it made a new local high at 59.4k saotshi and is now traded at 52.3k satoshi.

Overall volume about 363% higher then on March 19, $STEEM on 10th place on the volume rankings.
Poloniex volume about 165% higher then on March 19, ~4290 BTC.
Bittrex volume about 265% higher then on March 19, ~640 BTC.

Since March 17th, the volume has also been growing, as on the pumps so in the consolidations after.
