This is never a counter post to @booster post on Proof of Brain & why whining is proof of no brain, seems pretty too harsh for someone who just joined steemit from being attracted from multiple promotional schemes if you ask me, but before I go on in this Steem Blockchain ranting, I would like to explain that Mining in other Crypto project is completely different from the Steem Blockchain, conventionally you mine with sophisticated mining rigs and get a fair portion of the tokens for yourself. Here, steem is mined by top witness which is somewhat distributed daily to users who “sub-mines” it with their minds called Proof of Brain.

What do I mean using these jargons? It means you don’t have to buy mining rigs to get your weekly portion of Steem like mining Bitcoin or Ether or maybe Dash. You could acquire a truckload of steem that is if you have the power and finances and then store (power it all up), otherwise you have to be some glorified top 20 witness who mined steem for the steem Blockchain; if you can’t buy or doesn’t have the resources to be a witness, then you have to come up with master plans and state-of-the-art skills/techniques to get a handful of steem.

"... Whiners, talking about how hard it is, how unfair everything is... Well, they did NOT use their BRAIN, or else they would have been seen and pushed up the trending in record speed, invested in their own content and shown the world that they too can manage the PROOF OF BRAIN in this ATTENTION ECONOMY."

"We cannot use your brain for you, and we will not finance shitposts or cater anymore to whining losers who by their whining attitude show us they clearly do not understand this blockchain!"- @booster

The above statement never seats well with me, investing in content is another name for vote buying which is really not bad until you become addicted to it and even invest in crappy articles and plagiarize blogs. If everyone invests in their own content AKA “Votes Buying”, is that not a failed system of Abuses? We all have seen some users really dwelling on @booster’s point and really harming the Steem Blockchain.

PROOF OF BRAIN/MIND MINING FOR AVERAGE STEEM USERS

For average users who have no programming skills or technical know-how to develop some app on the steem Blockchain, this simply means using your other skills e.g. writing, publish articles that a certain percentage of other users likes and support constantly without boring them out. Hence mind mining comes to play i.e. knowing what different categories of users likes on daily and weekly basis, that was the by the way; before the steem Ecosystem became somewhat “overlap” with different schemes that was never in line with the original concept.

So you have to be able to make music, write well and not steal other people’s work, or be an artist or a poet, a gamer, or even a vlogger; once you could do any of this stuff then you have a chance to make some steem and not exactly “make your own coins” even if you do not possess the technicality like @booster mandated users to do!

A CHANGED STORY

Presently, irrespective of how good you are as a writer or a musical artist, as a sculptor or a Gamer; your proof of Brain is not a guaranteed way to mine you steem like it use to be that is if you do not invest in your content. Why is that?

Because there is “a cog in the Steem-Wheel”, meaning none of your creativity matters anymore at the moment, since a user could publish crap and invest in it to get a huge reward on the seventh day!

Unless you are in some community or a group that tries to support each other, not many good contents or brilliant publishers have relevance in the present Steem Blockchain.

Sad but true, maybe this is another Whining or proof of no brain; if you can’t buy your rewards (invest in your content), then you are on your way to be frustrated and ditch steemit like hundreds of users are doing weekly and monthly, the present state of steem seems like a “come for the money, leave for the unspoken truth about earning on the Steem Blockchain”.
