What to do with your SBD now

in #steem7 years ago

I'm pretty sure all of you, or most of you noticed that the Steem Backed Dollar price is incredible high at moment. It should be around one dollar, but is 7.50$ at moment.

I think that the price will return to its normal range in the near future, that's why I decided to make this post, in which I will tell you what I would do with my SBD now.

Steem Backed Dollar

In fact, there is one really advisable thing you can do now and that is selling your SBD. As I stated before I really think that the price will soon return to its normal range and you would want to take this profit with you before it does.
If you don't think that the price will fall, then just hold your Steem Dollars and sell later.

DO NOT use the Convert to Steem option. Why?

Using Convert to Steem will give you 1$ worth of Steem and not the 7$ you would get when selling. And it will reduce the SBD supply, thus driving the SBD price even higher.

I hope this article has helped you, if you have any questions feel free to ask them.

thanks @okean123, it makes scene what you write. I give more importance what the crypto value in BTC has each (steem and sbd) obviously SBD is higher by 401% as I write. For me right thing to do, transfer SBD to exchange for BTC. What do you think and which platform would you use to do it ? Any friendly exchange out there with fair fee?

I would recommend Tradeqwik(https://steemit.com/@tradeqwik) to you, the exchange is very new and has a great concept. Currently the have some problems with their wallets, that's why I'm not quiet sure wether Steem wallet is working now. They have a discord channel, you could visit it.
The design is bad, not to say horrible but they are working on a completely new website.

I'm not using any other exchanges, so I'm not sure what to recommend. I heared poloniex is good, but they have very big problems with their Steem wallets. (They are disabled often and for a long time)

The moment I'm writing this SBD is worth $8.33, just unbelievable... I'm not sure wether selling or holding them longer is godd.

I made a wise decision yesterday with my SBD!
Regarding exchangers, I like Bittrex. I also use another really good exchange where you get bonuses all the time users trade, the bonus are paid in the coins users trade, isn't cool? If you like trading, we should exchange ideas, I dont want to use this post of yours to start talking about something else. I just started to follow you, follow back and thanks man!

Thanks for following! Yeah Bittrex is something I totally forgot, thanks for the reminder. I would exchange ideas, but I'm not really into trading. I'm investing in projects I like, but I don't even have an poloniex or bittrex account :p.
Anyways have a good day!

Wow. Just wow. And thanks a bunch, found some money now that I didn't even realized I had - I went for the easy option (bittrades) as poloniex had some technical problems and converted it to ether. Not nearly enough to cover my localethereum trades for today, but more than enough to cover my lunch budget for the rest of the year. :-)

Lol, nothing to thank for :). Have good lunches with the money!

I have tonns of steem power but not that many sbd. So I think I just keep hodeling it ;)

Yeah, I'm also not going to sell my Steem. I think in some years they could be worth soooo much more. I believe in Steem, so keep hodeling!
