Over the past few months of knowing about steemit, steem, steem power and steem dollar, I have wondered how can it be of use to our business, how can it improve our business on a day to day basis and how will it affect our business in the short and long run. So I wondered why don't we use the steem and steem dollar as means of payment in our business, be it Offering of goods or services. What will be the likely overall outcome. This are the questions I have been asking myself, and using a taxi 🚖 business as a case study, I will explain and answer most of this questions.

HOW THE TRADITIONAL BUSINESSES ARE RUN

A traditional business who offer goods or services takes this normal routine daily (may not be exactly, but more like it),
• open for the day.
• ‎get and attend to customers need and wants.
• get paid in cash or through bank transfer.
• ‎remove all the expenses.
• ‎calculate the profit.
• ‎save the profit in the bank for a little while for the payment of little intrest or reinvestment it back in the business.
• ‎etc.

This is good anyway, the only thing is you get to make limited profit. i.e the profit you make is only limited to the amount you put in the business and most times its fix and doesn't grow fast.

This way of doing business is good I won't lie,
• but what if there is a better way?
• what if you can make more profit within a short peroid?
• ‎what if your income before the expenses is removed starts making profit for you?
• ‎what if from the very first time you get paid for your goods or services your money starts to yield more profit for you?

Yes all this is possible!

John opens for the day with 3 taxi's and drivers, John's steemit username is printed on the taxi's where it is viable for customers who needs a ride, and then customers pays to Johns steemit account and he confirms the payment, they get their ride. For customers who don't have steemit account, the drivers help them to open one, and this customers can also earn steem and steem dollar when they write contest, post and comment on others posts, the customers can also get rewards by John when they're loyal.
John can choose to either sell steem or steem dollars to his customers or to someone else.
John decides to leave his steem or steem dollar for a little while, because he knows they will grow and there for increase is profit.
At the end of the month, John sells some of his steem or steem dollar to settle his expenses and leave the rest to grow more.
John has more followers and high steem power and makes more from it, and his profit his not fix, it grows daily and can even grow as much as 200%.
