UNDERSTANDING ELECTRICAL NUTRITION

Given this simple and short explanation, the reader will appreciate that it is not at all far-fetched to reason that plants and animals are transforming the Sun’s energy, here on Earth. Indeed, we have known about plant
photosynthesis since school days. Plants use sunlight (electromagnetic energy) to manufacture sugars and amino acids. Animals eat plants. We eat both the plants and the animals. We eat sunlight!

Nutrition itself is electrical in nature. As you sit reading this and while you are breathing, there are in your body, in every cell and all your mitochondria, billions of individual electrons being guided down metabolic pathways and eventually reunited with protons. The mitochondria harvest the electrical energy this migration releases.

“You eat sugars that have excess electrons, and you breathe in oxygen that willingly takes them.”

Our cells break down the sugars, and the electrons flow through them in a complex set of chemical reactions until they are passed on to electron- hungry oxygen. In the process, cells make ATP, a molecule that acts as an energy storage unit for almost all living things. Moving electrons around is a key part of making ATP.

“Life’s very clever,” says Nealson. “It figures out how to suck electrons out of everything we eat and keep them under control.” In most living things, the body packages the electrons up into molecules that can safely carry them through the cells until they are dumped on to oxygen. “That’s the way we make all our energy and it’s the same for every organism on
this planet. Electrons must flow in order for energy to be gained. This is why when someone suffocates another person they are dead within minutes. You have stopped the supply of oxygen, so the electrons can no longer flow.”

Now scientists have discovered a whole fascinating phenomenon, which is bacteria that “eat” electricity. It means some very basic forms of life can do away with sugary middlemen and handle the energy in its purest form—electrons, harvested from the surface of minerals.

Electrobiology is poised to swoop onto the scientific stage and take over completely from the biochemical model. That’s why we take antioxidants. We want to avoid our body chemistry being ripped apart electrically. Oxidation all comes down to electrical potential and events.

Our food is crucial. There is “live” food (electrically active) and “dead” food, where all the electrical energy is lost. In the latter case the food has become just a compilation of molecules, with no life energy. It does little or no good. We need to eat electricity for optimum health!

Now here’s a whole startling extra take on electrical nutrition, that I consider very exciting and—knowing it will irritate the diehards who don’t like new ideas—well, that just makes it an even more attractive theory!

A thought on your post. First off it's a great post and content worth reading. Bust as a small suggestion, maybe break it up with images supporting different parts? In the blogging world I have found that many after one paragraph begin to skim whereas images for some reason break that urge and keep them engaged? It is a great write up though so keep up the excellent work.
