Absolutely! Steem has the (close) to instant settlement potential. At some point the block speed could even be increased.

It would be instant, instead of a Crypto gimmick that is like: "Wait for it, wait for it, wait for it, just a little patience..." ...ten minutes may have passed... "Yes! The settlement has been finalized!"

While with Steem it would have been: 3-2-1-Done! And then people would stand amazed... Or just be using it. 😁
