RE: Your honest answer

Let me prefix this comment by saying that my Dolphinhood was purchased. It was not for investment, however, but simply to gain stake. My only investment in my cryptfolio are PoW tokens, in my opinion. DPoS has too high a chance for corruption to consider it an investment and EOS, with its coo-coo governance, is ETH Classic waiting to happen.

A form of investment should be expected with STEEM. At least purchasing and holding of STEEM by those companies/individuals needing stake to run their service(s)/dApps through the use of the utility token, STEEM. Yet that is a different kind of HODLing than investment in my opinion.

I understand your point but I keep my question, it is nice to someone who don't know Steem, investor or not, think in come in and discover this "downvote mania" since hf21?

Well that again applies to my answer. To me the social media aspect of STEEM is a wonderfully unique dApp, yet onboarding more people for the sake of onboarding people should not be a primary goal in my opinion. It is my feeling that more and more people will be using the STEEM blockchain, powered by its utility token, without even knowing it.
