From $1,700 to $18,000 in 5 weeks...Cryptos (bitcoin, ether, ripple, lumens)
At the advice of a programmer buddy of mine I invested $1,700 into coinbase about 5 weeks ago. I'm really flabbergasted it's just how quickly this money has been rising, and I've decided that I'm going to add steem to help support the community and to help stabilize my crypto currency portfolio .
No way he has made that much in 5 weeks on coin base! Looking at the previous rises in percentage I am very doubtful! Any body can post pics of there success with no actual evidence! Sorry but just my thoughts
I've made many trades along the way, I've been trading for years in silver and gold, and some other commodities… And in many ways crypto currency's behave the same way normal commodities behave. I've been documenting my traits in progress along the way
Why not share what tips you are doing and what you are doing then I think you may get a lot more followers! I will be one of them! I have tried but came to the conclusion with crypto in general its just best to buy and hold! what are you thoughts!
Well, I am by no means an expert (although in the gold, platinum, Palladium, precious metals market I would say I'm one of the more informed traders having spent many years working a precious metals refinery in Texas). But I would be happy to share the way my partners and I choose which crypto currency's to buy

Impressive but... are you not maybe deflating your cost basis a bit? Unless you've made some truly prescient trades, seems like based on the # of BTC and ETH you hold that 5 weeks ago that alone would be > $1700

Great question. I didn't start with BTC. That is where I place about a third of the generated profits when one of the coins moves. I started in ETH (1 or 2), Ripple (26,000 @ .04), Lumens (65,000 @ .008). I shaved off the profit when Ripple got over 40-cents. I played lumens a bit differently. I sold about 30,000 around 5.5, then got back in around 2.9 cents. I think Lumens will make a run to between 15 and 20-cents, so I'm going to stay long. I then started adding BTC, SJCX (which I've bounce traded a few times from $0.54 - $1.90, and back), ETC (now buying and holding until we get past $425 again), and ANS (which I pulled out of too early so I'm leaving the last 130 coins because it's free at this point)
