STEEM for Bittrex USD pairing. What you can do.

So here we are again. Another chance for community push STEEM into the public eye and this time for a good reason. Forget about @ned and steem inc and all of the uncertainty around right now and focus on what we can do as a community. In the past few months there has been a push from all sides of the community to increase awareness of the product that we have here and to improve the chain. We have seen great work from users like @therealwolf in his attempt to showcase steem's app potential. @pennsif who is hosting the state of steem forum's and connecting people and projects for our future and @aggroed who has created a masterpiece in @steemmonsters. This is where our focus and our thought's should be. Focusing on what we can do ourselves to improve the chain and to build out future. Obviously we are all following current event's to see how it will play out but there is nothing the majority of us can do to influence that.

What we can influence is STEEM's profile in the crypto world. We can shine the light on what we are doing well and what we have here. Community is a huge part of that and we now have another chance to showcase our strong and active community on twitter. So far we have dominated anything to do with public feedback and there is a push to do so once more.

Bittrex looking at new USD Pairings?

Now we have Bittrex asking for information and for public opinion on which crypto's to look at going forward. As we have seen in the past with a push from the community we were able to smash the netcoins contest and get the coin listed there. Some people might say that does nothing for us but I would disagree. At the moment we are sitting in a tough bear market with very little activity in the markets. I think that in the long run getting ourselves into position like these will be very beneficial once people start looking to put money in again. That's why there is a push from the community to get the STEEM name onto the twitter feed of Bittrex and show them that there is a market and an appetite for a USD pairing. It might not count for much now but again when new people are coming to buy crypto it could be huge as well as help to break away form our dependency on the bitcoin prices.

So let's push STEEM as much as we can and give it the marketing that it deserves as a blockchain. As of now I am seeing a lot of $Noah and a little bit of $Verge in the comments which is ridiculous. There should be nothing but STEEM all the way down.

Also we need to give some love to other people's replies as all I can see at the top of the feed is $noah with plenty support for it.
