RE: On Aug 26, I got my money on Conor McGregor "the champ champ"
As much as I want to see McGregor win, part of me knows that Mayweather's defensive style will most likely make this another boring victory.
The way I see it is you're taking the best PC gamer (McGregor), and having him fight against one of the best defensive Console gamer (Mayweather) using his rules and equipment. McGregor isn't a full time boxer, and he has a lot of learning to do in a very short amount of time. Since Mayweather has been boxing for over 30 years.
With that being said, McGregor is taller, has a longer reach, is a southpaw, has been training for longer fights (5min rounds for MMA vs 3min rounds for Boxing), and is much younger than Mayweather. All of this is to McGregor's advantage, but is it enough to compensate for his lack of boxing expertise?
In the end, I want to see McGregor win but I won't be holding my breath for an exciting fight.
I totally agree with you, most exciting fight in the world though. If Conor can do it, he's got 4 rounds to try to take Mayweather's peanut head off clean lol.
