Sure, if those people all kicking in 1k USD the price of STEEM would m00n.
That would be equivalent to the total volume of trading over the last 16 days.
But the vast majority can't or won't do it. So it's up to the minnows to become dolphins, the dolphins to become orcas, and the orcas to become whales.
but we CAN! people get inspired! if donald trump came on steem and asked everyone of his supporters to kick in an extra 1000 bucks there would be a lot who would do it
if we had a charismatic leader who could appeal to minnows to invest it would work, and ned cannot do that he cant be seen as begging the poorest users for extra money, even though they have gotten a lot of money from neds company's work hmmm hahaha well.. what i mean is ned serves a different role, to get big investors which eh does he calls a lot of big bitcoin investors and gets them into steem

imagine every reddit users investing in steempower in the hopes of getting more power for the reddit SMT
i feel like that could work and we could get enough reddit users to kick in thousands of dollars each, theres 800K reddit users on the r/bitcoin subreddit and within that group is enough btc to invest the sp we ned to moon steem price and keep in there! we keep it there by continuing to use the skyrocketing steem price to encourage more people to buy in and power up and we lock up more and more steem and we make sure people lock up their rewards and do not power down so that no one is able to get any cheap steem!!!
I hear what you’re saying but it’s just not going to happen any time soon.
It’s a chicken and egg problem. High prices and high returns will attract more people. But until you get the people there won’t be high prices.
But if BTC shoots up again we will get high prices in everything, so there’s that.
