A simple man.
He did not sleep at night, or rightly he could not sleep at night, he is just a strong guy, no matter what wrong is with him, he just does not care, he pretends not to care, he has got a life ahead, why caring. For it life has been all the time cruel to him, he does not know why, he is not only qualified, but overqualified, still he suffers unemployment, he does not know why, he has been all the time an introvert guy, not like all those who are at his age, he is exactly the opposite of his generation, he feels both comfortable and uncomfortable being a dull person, according to what his peers think he is. Having all those remarkable standards do
not mean you are valid for a dirty society. The other is just hell, for him, Adam. Sarter was absolutely right, though the other helps us better know ourselves, the other also ingrains our feelings, the other makes us inauthentic, the other kills our originality. Adam has always questioned this, to be only yourself, no matter whatbother people say about you, just exceed them ruthlessly as if you were walking on dead corpses. Everyone is not himself or herself truly, Adam thinks. You know why everyone is hidden behind a mask? Have ever thaught about that? Probably not because you are too hidden behind a mask, but unconsciously. When the masks are fallen down, everyone will be scared, just astonished, everyone will be staring at one another, exhausted faces, no light, disfigured faces.
