RE: [Discussion Post] Is Steem really a social blockchain?

in #steem6 years ago

Of course I do, and it's even more than that. At Steemit there is not only an exchange of thoughts, emotions, work, there is also an exchange of culture, of problems. It is a global communication network that not only helps us to create bonds of friendship with people from other countries, but we know their needs, their problems and in one way or another we become more supportive and empathetic with others. In Venezuela, for example, we lived through a unique crisis and Steemit has not only served to let other countries know about our serious situation, but also to channel aid for the benefit not only of one person, but also of a group (examples such as @fundacorazon). Similarly, the issue of cryptomonies was a subject that only experts knew about, at this time, and as a result of the information transmitted here, there are more people who handle this knowledge and have known how to take advantage of it.
I believe that much more can be done and everything will depend on the work we all do, on the creativity and dedication we put into Steemit
