Who else is of the opinion that content quality is going down fast on Steemit?

in #steem5 years ago (edited)

Just trying to start a discussion on this. I think the reason is that there's simply not enough human traffic in order for filtering content through upvotes and downvotes to take place.

How could we solve this? Is there even a practical solution in sight?

Do you have any specifics to quantify your thoughts on the quality or is it just a subjective feeling? With more new users onboarding nowadays, of course, their first stumbling steps onto a new platform might not be all that, but do they stay and does their content improve? Or is it something else you're thinking of?
