Because I wanted this to be a way to help grow my STEEM account. And since the STEEM price is very low now, it's way easier to accumulate (more STEEM for less other crypto), and is still viable to get from faucet earnings. As for BTC, for now I'm just "hodling" a small fraction that I had bought to try things out.
