(If the Reblog idea doesn't take off it can always be removed - that was said in the early days of Twitter too, but it was never required!!)

This was my first thought when seeing the new reblog feature. "Where is the counter?" Should be an easy change and that it was so easy yet overlooked shows that lack of awareness in the platform development.
Great minds think alike there :)
