Steem approaching $8?? Am I seeing things? Will Steem overtake SBD?
I can't stop refreshing coinmarketcap.com. The Steem price just keeps on pumping. I'm too excited to do my actual job!

It's weird to think how excited I was when it went above $2...
An SBD is $1 worth of STEEM if I am not mistaken. I'm sure STEEM will overtake the value of SBD if so. $1 worth of STEEM is only about 0.13 STEEM.
SBD is meant to be pegged at $1 US however has never stayed at this level. SBD is currently valued at above $10 US while Steem is sitting at above $7 US at the moment.
It's all very confusing however Steemit essentially has 2 different currencies. SBD and Steem. And both are valued differently.
That explains why my account's value jumped. lol
