Genesis 26:13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:

Hallelujah..........!
A best friend of mine calls me "great man" and I respond to it.
The Bible is my mirror especially this part of the Scripture.
The above verse talks about Isaac. You can read more on that but I want us to look at some key words.
The Bible says "the man (Isaac) waxed great, and went forward(not backwards), and grew (not stagnant or stunted).........."
There is a saying that "life is ups and Downs". I disagree!
As a child of God, your direction of movement should be only one. It should be forward, upwards or northward!
There shouldn't be any backwards, downward, west, east and south. In the realm of the spirit, there is only one direction, thus north. The earthly mentality makes us agree with the ups and down way of life. Noo! let's program our mind forward and upward!
If you know your spiritual nativity, you will understand why God wants you to move forward, northward or upward direction.
"Proverbs 4:27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil."
What is he saying? He wants us to go in the direction of his word. Refuse to turn to the right or to the left, because there are distractions and detractors that will try to get your attention. Don't look at them! Be focused! Forward ever, backward never!
