(SBD) VALUE CHECKER: Real Steem Based Dollar value.

Since yesterday the 4th of July I was quite interested in how our SBD where doing. And since I'm not the only one talking about SBD conversion rates I thought lets first start of by making a simple dynamic google spreadsheet. This since its allot of work to constantly convert the SBD to STEEM with your calculator, to see if it would be worth to convert your SBD in to STEEM.
The Google Spreadsheet
To edit the file you have to press File -> make a copy and afterwards you are able to change the price of the internal market accordingly, after you will see the current latest price in USD.
CONVERTION EXPLANATION:
Curently the conversion works like this:
1 SBD is worth 3.333 STEEM* ----- (Internal exchange value)
1 STEEM is worth $ 0.23521400 ----- (Bittrex exchange value)
Time of writing it changed in screenshot.
Formula: 1SBD / 0.300 = 3.333 * 0.23521400 = 0.783968262 $
FLAWS / TO DO:
So 10 minutes ago I started to make a almost fully dynamic google spreadsheet. But there are still some things to do / flaws.
1.) Value of the internal market space value is not insert dynamically. This is due that I Unfortunately cant scrape the values directly from the Internal makes by using a html data scraping script.
2.) Currently the STEEM/BTC value is not insert dynamically since this one is also not easily ti scrape with a html data scraping script. But in this case its not important for the workings of the script since we use the Bittrex STEEM/USD value to calculate its worth.
HELP:
If there is someone that can help me to get the values directly and dynamic from the internal market space or can provide me with with the STEEM/BTC value I will add this to the Google Spreadsheet. You would not only help me but the community to get a real time ticker for the SBD.
FUTURE:
I will try if I can convert this script to a Website where you can fill in your values or see the current up to date SBD values. But since I'm not a master coder It will take some more time and a bit of help.
FIXED 2016/07/05 - 23:39 (CEST): Add a log script that will log time, date, STEEM/USD value, SBD/STEEM value and its SBD/USD this so we can log and make graphs of its fluctuations.
FIXED 2016/07/06 - 00:14 (CEST): Added a UPDATE button in the top of the spreadsheet menu to update the log manually.

There is essentially free money to be had for anyone who trusts in STeem Dollars to be worth a dollar long term. You buy STEEM on Bitrex and Sell it for Steem Dollars. Over time the market will mature and the spread will lesson. Then you can sell your steem dollars for BTC and pocket a nice 20%+ profit.
The only risk you face is that STEEM collapses to 0 while you hold your Steem Dollars.
Yes, and I'm trusting STEEM for it. I will hold my SBD as long as posable! I really enjoy this community, and thought this would be a nice way to see, if the SBD/USD is doing. Just as easy as we now can do in diffrent exchanges and track STEEM/USD.
"Big" risks big rewards" nice strategy if it works out to get 20%+ profit :)
It doesn't have to go to 0. You also face the risk that it continues to trade but at an even larger discount than what you paid.

@mauricemikkers You can use a Google Docs "ImportJSON" script to pull JSON API prices for STEEM from cryptocoincharts.info API or the like. If you want more help, join our Slack or email [email protected].
Rewrote the whole code, and changed the google spreadsheet to a web based page, now all values are loaded with different api's making sure its as accurate as posable. Steemdollar.com

Thanks I'm working on it, so hopefully soon it will be there. But for now I'm missing some info such as the internal market value that I cant scrape just like the STEEM/BTC value. Once I have this a website is easy peasy :D
