RE: Building a self-sufficient community
Great way of putting it. I'm coming up on 500 myself; with a similar amount on @frogcake, the Adelaide bot.
Assuming dapps start hot-seating their users through a handful of accounts (I don't own the chair I sit in at my local restaurant, the restaurant does), I can see a situation where each new 'seat' represents a sizeable investment for the business. I know accounts seem plentiful now; but we're looking at a thousand little stockpiles which have been growing for a long time.
If demand shot up and people were paying $50 each, would you sell?
I wouldn't, as I would've sold at $20, pocketing a happy $10K. That gives you more scarcity to sell into.
Sure, I have 500 now, but that doesn't mean I can snap my fingers and generate another 500.
I think that this is the way many dapps will do it to keep resource requirements down and many there are many creative ways to do this.
definitely :D
In a couple years though, if I am able o set up a full onboarding for my company or similar, the value of it is likely more than the seat itself.
I am going to keep creating as long as I can.
