Let's Get STEEM Added to a 3rd Exchange VIRCUREX (Virtual Currency Exchange)
#Vircurex is a smaller exchange than #Bittrex or #Poloniex but that actually provides an advantage over sites like that which have a Higher Trade Volume. With a Lower Trade Volume the prices are more fluid. So, for example, when #STEEM goes down in value at all, the price on Vircurex wouldn't be effected as bad because the Lower Trade Volume would create a gap in trade. And this gap would create a cushion for people trading, because even if the Buy orders got really low, the Sell orders could stay up higher.
Vircurex would also provide an opportunity for Steemit users to make money trading #Cryptocurrency. Because of the Low Trade Volume and larger gaps, you can actually sometimes make money just buying and selling coins right on the site, or going between Vircurex and another site and Buying and Selling on different sites. So if they added STEEM the Steemit community could have a whole new community of day Traders.
Plus, the more exchanges STEEM is on, the more Stable it is.
Here is the email for Vircurex. Send them a message and let them know that you want them to add STEEM to their exchange, and when they get a good amount of emails they will probably decide to do it.
What do you mean 3rd? STEEM has been on OpenLedger practically from the start. CMC currently lists 4 exchanges with multiple STEEM markets: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/steem/#markets
That said, more exchanges won't hurt. Although I question if Vircurex is a wise choice. They've been hacked ~2 years ago and are still pretending to pay back the stolen funds...
We need steem to be listed on chinese exchanges also
Not bad idea). The more exchanges the more diversity.
The more exchanges, the better.
Also many people don't know that Steem is listed on a smaller exchange #alcurex .
