Steem anniversary 2
Two years ago today my account was created on Steem. Feels like forever ago as time appears to move faster here. A lot is happening every day. Steem is evolving, morphing, and constantly adjusting. Sometimes it is overwhelming to keep up with all the things. Of course, not only on Steem but in all crypto space that affects everything. The bear market was quite brutal for many, but it has been wonderful to witness our community being strong despite that.
A couple of days ago I reached 7k Steem Power. All powered up and I am very proud of this achievement. Have never powered down anything and not planning to anytime soon. I am very grateful for everyone who has been supporting me this whole time. In a way, it is your achievement as well. Thank you!
@ocd is back after a long break and back to curating which I am very happy about! Spreading some love around the platform. OCD has made 354 daily issues so far. Since I joined the team I’ve curated over 200 authors. Even at the hardest times, we have some really amazing authors out there worthy of support creating awesome content and it feels great to shine a little more light on them through the project. Our team is a fantastic bunch of creative and strong individuals as well and I am proud to be among them.
Last October I moved to Northern Ireland. Why? To work and to stabilize my financial situation (being broke sucks). The working part has taken a lot of time and energy away from me. My regular posting and creativity have suffered because of that. For this reason, I also have invested some of my fiat into Steem and diversified a tiny bit. Times have not been the easiest, but luckily I am going home soon. So, look forward to more chill posts from my beautiful homeland, Latvia! ^^
Oh, oh! Because I’ve been busting my ass quite hard, I decided to treat myself. I am going to attend Steemfest 4 in Thailand! Can’t wait to meet all the Steemians who are going there! I wanna hug you all for being awesome! It is time to celebrate life and just to be happy!

I am going to leave you all with the collection of all Songs of the day from the past year. I think the playlist turned out great. It has 104 awesome songs, just so you know. Been listening to it all day while scrolling through my own feed and I must say, I am pretty proud of my posts too.

Can't believe how quickly these two years have gone by but at the same time it feels a lot longer than 2 years. So strange. Must because of dynamics of this place.

It is always a great time for me whenever I am on steemit. Though the price might be down, but that does not really bother me as I love my time been on steemit
Exactly. It is wonderful to see those people who don't complain at all, just do the stuff they love doing and connecting with others. Love, love, love that part of Steem :) It is what I was drawn towards in the first place. Only for the past year beginning to grasp crypto part more, but also just barely scratching the surface.

Looking at your posts and your artwork and photography and how awesome they are; knowing how you have even been holding down a full time job and being an active OCD curator... I am amazed you have still been able to be as active as you are. Keep up the great work!

Yeah, you know it is pretty fucking amazing to have helped someone grow or even just give them a smile on their face even though I don't see it or perhaps, someone decided to stick around because of the support OCD gave. It is what I love about the project the most. It feels like I can pay forward, what once happened to me and I will be forever grateful.

At first the thought of 9 million, noisy, people crawling city gave me anxiety and I never even considered visiting Thailand before, but then I was like why the hell not, time to give myself a wee bit of culture shock and expand my world.

Actually my first year I had a cupcake, but there is a little Easter egg under my watercolor that just cracked me up so hard I could not resist and switched to a muffin.
