Great post but I think you made an essential error. You said computers only do what they’re programmed to do, but that’s not quite true. Newer AIs are learning very similarly to how humans learn and that makes it so the people who program it can’t predict what it’s going to do too well. Over all I’m not too worried but it still is up in the air whether Skynet will turn against us.
