How much could Steem be worth in the future?
Hello Steemians,
Today with the help of statistics I will try to discover which could be the value of Steem in the future.
Data:
1- Facebook has a market cap of 528.27 billion dollars as of 1/11/2017
2- Snapchat is worth 18 billion dollars
3- Pinterest is worth 11 billion dollars
4- Twitter is worth 13 billion dollars
5- LinkedIn is worth 26 billion dollars
6- Youtube is worth 90 billion dollars
In the best case scenario in which Steem would overtake all this social media platforms its market cap would be of over 650 billion dollars giving each Steem a price of over 2500$ per Steem meaning that the current reward for entering the platform would be of over 1250$, crazy isn't it?.
It is highly unlikely this would ever happen but even if Steem only had a 1% of the total market cap of social medias its price would be over 25$, way higher than today's price (1$).

$25 sounds like a worthy goal. Let's see what transpires after steemfest. I think this community can do this.

It's happening now. I think there are some videos being posted of their plans for 2018.
............. from what I can see fb is the top slot to take as far as stemmit.com goes! the others, I guess, will have other 'steem using' sites taking them on. I gotta be honest, Dtube is nowhere near 'there' for me. However, you know these companies will always adapt when their rivals get even a whif of success!! interesting times and good post!! Peace.
True on DTube, I have never gotten it or Zappl to work for me.
