To convert your Steem or SBD you will have to transfer it to an Exchange like Bittrex , this is an exchange where you can buy almost all the other crypto's on the market. Yes you can but you can only buy Bitcoin with Luno , if you earn Litecoin and Ethereum with any of these cell phone apps you can send it to ICE3X and exchange to rand without paying all the exchange fees ,hope this makes sense

Awesome stuff! Thanks for finding this @louiscpt Been wondering how to change ZAR into crypto. Exchanges like HitBTC and Kraken aren't very deposit friendly if you have ZAR from what I've seen. This will also make getting SBD out eventually a lot easier too. Nice work.
@rahvin84 this was the one thing i never could give an explanation about when speaking about Steemit . Now I can, lol tried and tested . Yes the US don't want our ZAR don't blame them though ... :-)
