RE: Learn By Having Soul in the Game and Getting Your Hands Dirty | Skin in the Game
Great post. The part that left an indelible mark on me is when you mentioned the green lumber fallacy. I think people overlook forms of intelligence and the fact there are many forms of intelligence. Our society praises intellect and intelligence, which can be quantified by IQ. No one pays attention to spiritual intelligence, instinctual intelligence, street-smarts, common sense, artistic intelligence. In my opinion, this explains why we are always making technological advances but seem to see regress or stagnation in other areas. The overall consciousness of the public (speaking in general terms) seems to be lower than in times past. When I read books that are in the public domain, I notice that their vocabulary and mastery of the language was greater than it is today. This is despite the fact they didn't have google, internet dictionaries, and other advantages we have today. Keep up the good work!
