20,000 Upvotes and the State of Steem

I lied about having more time tonight; apparently I can't plan around things and some more day job stuff came up. It should actually be done this time, so expect some Segira progress tomorrow.

On a happy note, we've now hit 20,000 upvotes in the course of less than a year here on Steem. This is a cool moment for us because it shows how much we've been able to do for the community.

Right now I know that there's a lot of pessimism due to the perpetually declining price of Steem, but for us the journey is worth more than any monetary reward. Having met the people we've met and seen the things we've seen on Steem is of greater value than just the Steem we've received in return for our engagement, and I'd just like to encourage everyone to keep up the good work.

In less than two weeks, our next game, Segira, will be coming out, and it's in no small part thanks to help from the Steemians we've met this year. Thank you!
