It happened. Justin with the help of CZ and Binance took over STEEM.

What can you say in a situation like this?

Steem is a centralized piece of shit blockchain.

How about that? lol.
Never thought id utter those words but at this moment that is absolutely true.
There really is no point in Steem being a blockchain.
Steem company owned by Tron Foundation

Ive been shitting on Justin for as long as i remember knowing his dictatorial communist tendencies.
His ultimate goal is to own everything of any value in the crypto space. He wants to own blockchains. Let that sink in.

And he can with the help of exchanges.
Ive been clamoring that exchanges are the most corrupt entities in crypto that endanger decentralization but i would have never expected exchanges using customer funds to take over a blockchain. Thats beyond unethical.
Justin will prolly reduce powerdown times now so exchanges will powerdown quick as if nothing happened.

What this means???

Well, Steem is dead. You can flip it any way you want but Steem is gone.

Witnesses can go talk to Justin and kiss his ass if they want, he might buy some of them, some he wont, many investors will go with Justin hoping he can pump the coin, some hardcore believers in decentralization will fork the chain that wont have exchange support making the token pretty much worthless.

Steem is dead.

Im currently powering down since that is the most sensible option.
I have no interest in SteemiTron or being a slave to a communist dictatorial piece of shit.
On the other hand being powered up in a fork of the chain that exchanges will probably want to crush, being a competitor chain to Justins chain, doesnt make sense from a financial standpoint.

I think ill look into some other promising alt coins...

Its over, decentralization lost, all bow down to your new dictator.
