You are absolutely correct. Decentralization doesn't mean no more support. Now this platform needs more support. Support team should understand why BTC is at 3500 USD and STEEM is at 1 USD.

Leadership is busy playing down voting game like kids.
It is important to keep in mind that when comparing steem to existing technologies that you are comparing a decentralized place to centralized places. What can be easy when centralized can often be trickier when decentralized.
How would you govern it?
Governance is a totally separate issue .. all I know is I would not be paying sh** to half the top 19 witnesses, some of whom are trouble-makers and some of whom are simply entirely useless aholes. What I would do, if I were say .. @ned for example .. I would arrange for a third party to start distributing payola to crypto-vbloggers to unethically pump the hell out of STEEM/STEEMIT ... like hardcore pumping! ... more accurately, anyone who makes a video pumping it gets paid! Secondly, I would pay for a bloody ad campaign targeting anyone and everyone who has expressed even the slightest interest in "blogging" + "bitcoin" .. partner with Amazon .. anything! :-)
