✳️ Warren Buffett article: Cryptos are "trading turds"
This article from CNN shows Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger roasting cryptos.
A couple gems from the article:
- Buffett says "that bitcoin was "probably rat poison squared."
- About bitcoin he says "it will never produce anything of value."
- Crytpocurrencies "will come to bad endings."
And my favorite quote in the article Charlie Munger says, "It's like somebody else is trading turds and you decide you can't be left out."
I feel these are just old men that made in in the old fiat paradigm of centralization. I'm not saying that bitcoin will remain the king forever, but I do believe there is a bright future for cryptocurrencies and blockchain/hashgraph technologies. I don't know if the crypto that will take us to the next level of mainstream exists currently or not, but it will happen IMHO.

The whole idea it needs to be as big as cash or credit cards or it failed is nonsense. I buy stuff with crypto online all the time. People who don't have credit cards or whole live in unstable 3rd world economy are dependent on it. It will never go away. It will fluctuate in value but the burst bubble scenario where its the end of crypto is something these old money type just want to scare everyone with.
