Ride then Cake 🚵♂️🎂🍰
We have another Sunny day here with some wind but nothing too major, even our overnight temperatures have risen to around 10 degrees.
Today has been a carbon copy of most days here with some walks and a 35 kilometer mountain bike ride, i had yesterday off riding but since we have a decent day i decided to ride today.
After checking my bike and oiling the chain it was time to set off.
Todays ride took 2hrs & 2 minutes which is 6 minutes quicker than Monday's ride, i even had a little more wind to deal with today so i am pleased to lower the overall time a little.
After my ride i had a shower and put on some nice clean non sweaty clothes.
We have a Birthday in the house today as its my Daughters born day, the cake is a freshly made sponge with jam/cream in the middle and cream with flake on top.
It was a really nice cake and there my even be some left for desert after dinner, we asked our Daughter what she wanted for Dinner and she said Wraps - so wraps it is.
I have just got back from a walk as i still want to get to my daily goal of 15 kilometers and at the moment i am sitting on 13.5K.
After dinner and before any cake i will go around the small block by our house and get my goal done for the day.
So i have had a great day here in New Zealand and i hope your day is going as well as mine.
