First week in Auckland
I am one night away from flying home for the weekend, my first week in Auckland at the Distribution center has gone really well.
The weather has been pretty average but i suppose it is winter here in New Zealand, lots of rain & wind and very cool temps to match.
The work i have been doing has been going really well and there are lots of nice people at this Distribution center.
For Dinner last night, all i felt like was some vegetables to go with my watermelon & pineapple i got the other day from the supermarket.
So i ordered some room service which had two smallish dishes, one was Piccolo herb tossed potatoes plus some Pan-fried vegetables with garlic butter - YUM!
Tonight though i decided to go down to the restaurant and order me a steak, its a nice restaurant and i would go back again.
Here is my Beef scotch (280gm) served with seasonal vegetables and roasted potatoes, i got it cooked medium and enjoyed every last bit of it.
I do have to come back for three days at the start of next week and decided to book a different Hotel for my short stay, there is nothing wrong with this weeks Hotel but i wanted to try somewhere new.
Tonight i plan to watch a game of Basketball on TV and pack my bag, tomorrow morning i will check out at 5.30am and work till around 1pm before going to the Airport.
Fill & return rental car and catch my flight home - YAY!
This has been the last few days for me in Auckland New Zealand.
