Corona Virus Lockdown And Keeping Spirits High With The Splinterlands Game – Day 58
It was a rainy day today and not much of going out of the house was done. We lost a neighbour yesterday, he died of cancer and that put a lot of shock to community members when we received the news, he was such a gent fellow that was loved by many.
Things like this makes you think about generally, someone you saw last week suddenly is no more, if you knew that that person was going to be no more is there something you could have done differently? This lockdown issue is making everyone stay at home a lot of the time and if people are not into social media stuff it becomes difficult to stay in contact with people. There are just too many people to call and find out how they are doing if you haven't heard from them a long time but sometime the economics of people's situation makes it difficult for people to stau in touch. I do hope you are staying safe if you are reading this piece, try and stay in touch with all the means neccessary, it could help people a lot and you might not know it.
I got the Death splinter today and boy it wasn't a joking matter. It was those kinda back and forth days where you are stuct in one place for long time not minding the energy and time you put into progressing. At a point when I had two wins in the bag I started contemplating whether I should do a change in the daily quest type and see if the next splinter I get will favour me. But as we all know it doesn't always work well that way, the game may even become very tight and had with a new splinter. Anyways, I battled it out with my opponents untill my daily quest was finally completed.
Rewards day 207
It wasn't a great reward today but I am grateful for the rewards I received because they are kinda like a bonus I get dily for completing my daily quest. For today I got one Epic card, one Rare cards, some Common cards and a bunch of Legendary and Alchemy potions and then some more tiny collection of DECs. I wonder what tommorrow will bring for me, to find out tune in tommorrow for my report. Thanks. Lol.
