RE: Writing Popular Comments: Top 5 Tips for Posting an Honest, High-Paying Reply
Thanks for this helpful guide on commenting! I've been commenting since I got here, and glad to hear that Steemit is encouraging the dialog in the comments. A post gets the ball rolling but the comments can really expand the conversation!
Question -- Is it wise to upvote one's own comment? Is it wise to upvote every reply to one's own comments or replies to one's post? I'm confused as to how liberal to be with upvotes and if it is considered bad taste to upvote one's own posts and comments. Thanks in advance for any reply you may have!
When I was looking for good examples that illustrated these tips, I did come across quite a number of your reply comments; I think it's great you were doing this before it became fashionable.
As far as proper etiquette with upvoting your own posts, let's see what the community thinks. Does anyone else have an opinion on that?

I think your own posts should be up voted by yourself automatically - surely you agree with yourself if you are taking the time to write a response?
