It's actually pretty easy I came to find out recently. I've been using tables on my recent live olympics posts here as you can see they come out quite nicely and look pretty sharp. If they weren't easy and didn't look good I wouldn't recommend it so give it a try. You can always find me on http://steemit.chat if you or anybody else for that matter needs any help. Just PM me.
I updated the post, now the first 5 images from imgur and the last 5 from imgsafe. It might be better now.

Just use https://steemimg.com ;) you'd have no problems
You could also convert these into actual tables using markdown

I wanted to use tables instead of pictures, but I am not an expert of usong markdown.
