Awesome Steem Facebook Community

Last week, I started joining a number of Steem groups in Facebook, some of them already approved my joining request but I also “abandoned” a number of them for the “introductory” questions that they asked which for me is a bit too much. I don’t mind answering questions but if you need to answer three and require you to further elaborate, I will just jump into another group hoping they are better in the screening process of prospective members. Another group even required a custom tag to be included in your posts which I think is fair. Though for me, having to deal with a lot of tribes I hope to cross-post my content, another tag added to my “staples” is something I can forego.
While browsing for some #Filipino content, I came across a post of Steemians having a meet-up in the Philippines. It brought back my memories of meeting with fellow SEO practitioners over some bottles of beer and sharing experiences and tools of the trade in the SEO industry. One of the founders of Steem Philippines group is @chrisrice. To keep updated with what’s happening with the group, I followed his account. I was surprised the following day when he followed me back and upvoted some of my content. He even invited me to join the Steem Philippines Facebook Group which I accepted. I joined the group and have been participating in the group chat. These people are amazing, they won’t feel that you’re new and will entertain all your questions. To be honest, I rather ask them the questions lingering in my brain that post them in Musing (because I have questions there that left unanswered for ages). I am also surprised to see that @surpassinggoogle of the Marlians tribe is there too!
If you want to connect and engage with actual people (not bots, lol) and engage in meaningful conversations about Steem and everything else, head on to the Steem Philippines Facebook group and be part of this awesome team.

Hi @kapengbarako,
Thank you for the review and I'm happy we have you onboard.
I cannot remember what your name on Facebook is since we had a couple new members join the same time you did.
Can you credit yourself in the group chat so that I can credit you (if you want) in the posts that I share on our social media accounts?
I am also interested in knowing what part of the Philippines you are from or where in the world you live. I have free accounts waiting on @steem.ninja and I can help you create a local Filipino community for Steem.
@guruvaj was the first to start with @steembatangas and I will be helping him too 😀

Hi @chrisrice, I already replied in the group chat :D
I am based in New Zealand but originally from Batangas. I already communicated with @guruvaj way way back. I don't know any other Filipino in NZ that's on Steem but I am keen to organize a group just in case.
Thank you for your help and for your support in advancing Steem.
