Why is steemit actually valuable ? ( For me )

My response to all the FUD that is going on.

What you come to realise when you invest in crypto currency and try to find out why is Bitcoin worth 9k now or why is 1 Euro = 1,20 Dollars.
You will then understand that none of these currencies are backed by any Asset like Gold. Thats why its called fiat.
And the economy has been doing poorly* and the central banks have printed massive amounts of money in the last 18 years.
So it seems logical for some to invest in Bitcoin since it has a capped supply ( or in altcoins for that matter ). Particurarly for someone that is in a country that can not be trusted ( example Venezuela, People from africa ).
But work Human work should be paid. Everybody talks about work and how we should create Jobs .
( Stay with me I will soon go to the point )
Steem has no revenue and therefore its unsustainable. But how about all the work that the people did on the platform and that is growing everyday.

All these writers ( yes many are spammers getting cleaned etc ) but all the work that everybody is putting in that is what gives this token Steem its value and for me a Token SBD that is based on the work of thousands of people and forever in the blockchain I can accept that its a whole lot better than to have fiat that is based on nothing and can be diluted at will. We have so many tools built on top of the Steem blockchain
Who decides who gets the money ?the steemiens its self regulated and very active you have movements like Steemcleaners curie, minnow. Its always frustrating to keep the abuse away but it is being done.

So for me it is a 2 way question :
Do you support a money system that is backed by Fiat ( wings, air, nothingness and mostly fear )
OR You can accept another money system.

Thats all Utopia over there but dont forget about the Smart media token that has to buy steem to rent Bandwith.

I love steemit and will keep trying to improve and show this to new people :)
