there are no obvious threats to the blockchain. from my knowledge they had no way to do anything to the code and could not do anything to the chain. you all did something that your boss called hackers and criminals just month ago.
I was not happy with what was done then, but there was a real possibility of one man changing the code of the chain. i am not happy now, but i don't see what can they do to steem.
I see one reason, and that is stopping them to sell everything and dropping the price but that can't be a reason to take steem from people.

oh i see now. blocking people to sell steem while you dump hive. so you dump the price of hive but manage to maintain the price of steem. nice
